Fourth-Year Elective Rotations

OMFS Anesthesiology – Jacksonville (OMFS ANS J; UF Students)

This is the required OMFS anesthesia training that is a requisite part of their residency program. The OMFS ‘students’ function alongside our clinical anesthesiology interns. They undergo our standard orientation and pairing and must achieve competence to become unpaired and fit to manage basic general anesthesiology cases.

OMFS Surgery – Jacksonville (OMFS SUR J)

Thorough and complete understanding of the anatomy and surgical techniques utilized in maxillofacial surgery. A great asset for students interested in ENT or Plastic Surgery careers.

Req. OMFS Surgery – Jacksonville (OMFS R 1J; UF Students)

Thorough and complete understanding of the anatomy and surgical techniques utilized in maxillofacial surgery. A great asset for students interested in ENT or Plastic Surgery careers.

We also offer externships for third- and fourth-year dental students.
